Let's get a jump start on session planning. Post notes about what you'd like to talk about or learn about in the Austin, Texas event. Do you find this valuable?

What I've seen since moving to Austin is half the community saying that Austin is so green and the other half saying it's not. I would love a more thorough discussion of what makes a city more or less green and what it takes to move a city to green. But I want to know real steps, who are the players, what are the hurdles, what are the benchmarks, etc. Do you find this valuable?

Sustainability within the context of people's values, accessibility, and collaborative networks. Huffington Post broke it down quite simply. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/stephen-h-dinan/the-next-evolution-of-gre_b_203114.html Of course, there's a whole of social media intertwined in this.

Sustainable infrastructure for future socio-demographic make up of Texas and beyond. Where are we going and how will we get there? Technology substitutes or upgrades to wring more out of our current infrastructure? Do you find this valuable?

Greenhouse gas emission reductions opportunities in central Texas may be of interest to the group. The EPA are due to publish a Final rul for mandatory greenhouse gas reporting anytime now, and the debate over the Senate version of Waxman-Markey will begin in earnest in late September. Texas business can choose to be reactive, or can get ahead of the game by proactively preparing for profit opportunities by getting their reduction projects prperly planned and documented. Do you find this valuable?

I'd love to talk about successful techniques for driving change in a business setting, especially from a grassroots level. Do you find this valuable?
