2009 Unconferences
In 2009, Environmental Defense Fund and Ashoka held a series of events to explore and accelerate sustainability innovations in business. These "unconferences" were held in Washington DC, Boston, Silicon Valley and Austin and they brought together hundreds of professionals engaged in making their organizations more efficient, sustainable and leading-edge. 2010 Solutions Labs
In 2010, we launched a new batch of events -- renamed "Solutions Labs" -- in nine cities around the United States. These events were similar to the previous year in the goal of connecting innovators interested in sustainability in business. However, the events were even more closely aligned and formatted to the needs and interests of the participants and region.
